Viking operates more than 60 ships on the world’s most renowned rivers. The company's vessels combine hotel-like comforts with the relaxing atmosphere of a small ship. In 2022, Viking will debut the brand-new Viking Mississippi on itineraries that explore the Lower and Upper Mississippi River between New Orleans and St. Paul.

All rooms aboard the Viking Mississippi have river views, and many have full balconies. Amenities include a shaded sundeck with infinity plunge pool, a restaurant with panoramic vistas, a bar and lounge and more. The ship’s professional chefs prepare tasty specialties of the surrounding region as well as classic American dishes.

Accommodations, delicious cuisine, many beverages and shore excursions are covered in the upfront price. Also included is the company’s Culture Curriculum program with enriching presentations that cover the history and music of places visited along the river.
